Why therapy?
(Person-Centred Approach)
Person-centred therapy is a supportive and non-judgmental approach based on empathy, respect, and valuing your unique perspective. In our work together, I provide a safe and trusting space where you can feel truly heard and supported in discovering your own way forward. Therapy works because it allows you to explore your experiences and feelings in a compassionate, non-judgmental environment, fostering insight, clarity, and personal growth.
ADHD & Neurodiversity Support
Alongside my work as a psychotherapist, I have extensive experience supporting neurodiverse individuals, including those with ADHD and autism, in various Special Educational Needs (SEN) school settings.
I am passionate about helping adolescents, university students, and adults with ADHD and autism, achieve their full potential, using person-centred approaches. The focus is on developing practical daily living skills.
My name is Eren, and I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I am British, with Irish and Turkish heritage, and fluent in English. I can also hold conversations in basic Turkish.
I have worked as a psychotherapist with adults, including university students, and I support a wide range of clients, such as those who are neurodiverse, and people exploring identity, trauma, bereavement, relationships, and cultural issues. I also have experience supporting LGBTQ+ clients with self-acceptance, coming out, transitioning, and navigating the impact of discrimination.
My background includes work in several Special Educational Needs (SEN) Schools, which gave me valuable insight into individual differences and unique needs.
Qualifications:
Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
Graduate Certificate in Counselling Skills
Bachelor of Science Honours in Psychology

About Me
Available services
Feeling unsure? I offer a free initial 15 minute telephone consultation. This helps to assess your needs, expectations and understanding of the sessions.
The standard 50 minute session is often called ‘the therapy hour.’ The initial 40-45 minutes will consist of whatever you wish to bring into the session, aligned with expert care. The final 5-10 minutes of the session will be designated to an overview of the session and a client check out.
This time gives you a focused and safe space to talk through what’s on your mind, without overwhelming your day or schedule.
This longer session offers the same principles - 70 minutes of therapy and final 5-10 minutes for a session overview and client check out.
This duration gives us the breathing room to slow down, explore more deeply, and end without feeling rushed.
